Interview with a Bomb Squad Member!

Hey! I wanted to share with everyone my interview with Detective Crissy Bartley for the ‘Following Dreams” page. She is part of the Richmond Police Departments Bomb Squad. I learned about the robots they use and x-ray equipment. And I got to wear a ninety pound, $20,000 bomb suit. You will love finding out more about Crissy’s career when her interview is posted later this summer.

I'm smiling but the suit was heavy and hot.


With the helmet on it felt like a space suit.


My Dad even got to wear the bomb suit. Now, he really is the bomb!
